Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be please to state:
(a) Whether Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) is being implemented across the country including North Eastern States;
(b) if so, the details thereof along with incentive provided to the eligible beneficiaries in the rural and urban areas particularly in Bihar: and
(c) the amount allocated to the said scheme during the last three years along with the number of persons benefitted there from?
ANSWER: THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE (DR. BHARATI PRAVIN PAWAR)
(a) & (b) Yes sir. JSY is being implemented across the country including North Eastern States. JSY incentive provided to the eligible beneficiaries is different in ‘Low Performing States’ and ‘High Performing States’. The State of Bihar falls under Low Performing State and the details of JSY incentive provided to the eligible beneficiaries in Bihar are as follows:

(c) Allocation of funds for JSY scheme is done by National Health Mission (NHM) under RCH Flexible Pool. There is no separate fund allocation for Janani Suraksha Yojana.
