Pre-Matric Scholarship (class IX and X) for ST and SC Students
Objective
To support parents of ST and SC children for education of their wards studying in classes IX and X so that the incidence of drop-out, especially in the transition from the elementary to the secondary stage is minimized, and
To improve participation of ST and SC children in classes IX and X of the prematric stage, so that they perform better and have a better chance of progressing to the post-matric stage of education.
Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme to OBC
Objective
The scheme of Pre-matric Scholarship for the benefit of children belonging to Weaker Section amongst OBCs has been formulated and this Scholarship would be helpful in spreading education amongst such children especially amongst the girl child of weaker sections.
